I’m Marc Zee from Arizona Center of mixed martial arts. I’m here on behalf of expertvillage.com.

I’m here to demonstrate the arm bar takedown. Go ahead guys. Alright, the arm bar takedown is a pretty simple self-defense technique. On the street, the guy grabs me. What I’m going to utilize here is what’s called an arm drag. What I’m going to do is first I’m going to break this grip. Whether he’s grabbing onto whatever part of my clothes I’m going to grab onto his wrist or onto the Gi here, and I’m going to push it away just enough to break it.
