So right away- boom. Right here, push forward. Notice how when I thrust forward, I don’t turn.

If I turn myself slightly, you can always put me off balance. If I keep my knee straight when I kick,

I can use the opposite leg right away – I’m still frontal, roundhouse, whatever doesn’t matter.

For this kick to be effective, you need to commit. You can’t stop halfway through.

So from here not frontal a little to the side, and push off the back, grip the front, pull - push off the ground , lift the knee forward and then thrust the hip forward. Extend your kick and hop off the ground slightly so you can throw that body weight into the kick. So again – take a big step, push off the ground, lift the knee, throw the body weight and hips forward. So close-up shot, the target you are aiming, solar plexus right there. Now if you want, if he guards the stomach well, go to the face. But for now, lot more power if you hit the solar plexus.
