The 2nd type of stretch in which we will cover isometric. Isometric means slow motion. The benefits of slow motion stretching that helps you with bounce, preparation, execution as well as gaining height in your foot techniques.
Lets start with a right leg back in a walking or out stance. take an example of a front snap kick. Before you begin your kick make sure you have a good solid stable stance. Once the stance has been establish prepare for your kick. At this time if you happen to have a problem with balance, either bring your hands to center or side to side retracted or bend your base leg. Once your balance is been established take a look at your foot position. Now deliver your technique very slowly and watch your presentation. Hold and count 5 and retract and set back down.
Do the same thing with the side cursing kick, start with a good stance prepare, look at your foot posture, execute slowly. By doing slow motion training, it allows me to make necessary, whether its my foot posture, if its my delivery of my kick, then necessarily cant do when i am doing the technique fast.
