For this kick to be effective, you need to commit. You can’t stop halfway through.

So from here not frontal a little to the side, and push off the back, grip the front, pull - push off the ground , lift the knee forward and then thrust the hip forward. Extend your kick and hop off the ground slightly so you can throw that body weight into the kick. So again – take a big step, push off the ground, lift the knee, throw the body weight and hips forward. So close-up shot, the target you are aiming, solar plexus right there. Now if you want, if he guards the stomach well, go to the face. But for now, lot more power if you hit the solar plexus.

If I were to just from here throw a kick, much less power, so from here it compliments – you’re going to lift the knee, throw the body weight, throw the hip forward, keep your knee up, extend. Say you throw the first stomp kick and your opponent backs out of the way and you just miss him, right away, if I miss that kick I’m immediately set up with the back leg to stomp kick again.
