Hi my name is Adjbul Gadu on behalf of ExpertVillage we’re gonna talk today a bit about another Capoeira kick, the third of the basic kicks. The first two are Queixada and Armada.
The last one, I think the most difficult of the basic kicks it’s also the one that’s the most telling I think. If you see someone kick this kick you can kind of tell how long they have been training Capoeira because it is difficult kick and it takes time and a lot of training in order to get it correct.
So if you see someone that have a good, nice fast Meia Lua de Compass, that’s what the kick is called, so if this kick is good you can kind of get an idea that they have been probably doing this a while in order for the kick to get like that. Ok. It starts out like your basic Armada. We’re gonna go ahead and do the right foot – it’s the same ideas as Armada where the direction you are twisting towards is the leg that’s going to kick.
So if I’m spinning to my right, my right foot will be kicking.
