Now basically you’re gonna one that up onto, let’s say you start, you’re a beginner, you wanna get up to, you know, you can only do three. You go upto three. You try to work it down to five, ten, all the way upto twenty. Okay, the better. The higher you stay up off a longer time, the better.

Now, when you’re working this drill, you wanna have the knee up as high as you can and kick. The higher you put the knee, the higher you’re gonna kick. And that’s what you wanted. You want a high kick for the most balance. Okay. So basically that, you do that drill a bunch of times, everyday and you’re gonna see your balance improve, aah, so much from, it will be a 100 percent improvement in about 2 weeks of doing that drill. Okay, while you’re fighting you want to be an offensive fighter but you’ve gotta have pounds. Okay. When you’re fighting a good kicker, you wanna keep him honest.

Okay. A great technique is the spinning back key. Okay. Once he knows it that you can catch him with a spin, he’s gonna be more cautious about raising his leg off. Okay. So basically, the drill that I like to do, okay, is the spinning back key or the spinning pull key. First, we’re gonna do the spinning back key. Okay. And you just, you grab the square bag, get in the fire steps and all you gonna do is the same thing like a d side but it’s with a back leg. Okay. Now back key. Okay, so it’s here. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Okay, so basically you do all these kicks. Let’s say, I’m lifting my leg up to kick him. Ooh, he catches me with a kick. That’s the time you’d want it, want it. When you know somebody’s gonna kick. Ooh, he’s taken in. okay, one more time. Ooh, he catches me with a heel. Okay.

Right on the belt. Right, it comes from the bottom off. Okay. Now, once you gotta think about the defensive back kick, you go and it’s great to also have a spinning ball kick. Okay. A spinning back kick and then you can also do the spinning ball kick. With spinning ball kicks, you can start him to block down here and then all of a sudden you got him down here and then you throw a spinning pump. Ooh, over the top. Okay. Over the top. And these for, both those drills are to catch someone when they’re trying to kick. Okay, either you’re pumping your leg or you’re just going one. All right. So those are great moves. We’re gonna go over one more time. Stay hooked.

Make sure you work on this feel of the foot. Uuuuh, rotating. Okay. So you gotta go one, two, three. Okay. And then the spinning back. Same thing. It’s the pivoting on the foot. Okay, one, two, three. Allright.
