Now let’s focus on little foot work. Start off with your right leg back, your fighting stance. You can actually do this in the reverse stance. We’re going to start with the right leg back and you’re just going to follow me and then you can——–work as you move.
The idea is to be moving while you’re striking. We’re gonna start off with a small shuffle forwards, small steps like that forwards when we do that thrust strike. Then we’re gonna step to the side as you do that horizontal strike. So we step forward, then to the side then we step in the other direction as you do the other strike. Then we just sort of follow that pattern.
Now its diagonal we’re gonna step forward and switch our feet - diagonal. Then we’re switching the feet again, the other diagonal. Then we’re going to move to the right here and then back the other side and then we’ll lower away, switch out feet lower away, just like that.
Drop down to one leg – strike, strike. Shift up, strike- straight up and switch feet straight down. Back in your fighting stance. Now grab your stick again..
